In cooperation with Horizon Europe funded projects Platina4Action and RH2IWER, SYNERGETICS will host a workshop to highlight the possibilities for vessel owners to reduce GHG and air pollutant emissions.
This workshop will take place at the Maritime Industry Fair in Gorinchem, The Netherlands. As it will be conducted in Dutch language, it will attract the local community of vessel owners. This will allow SYNERGETICS to create synergies with interesting local pilot projects that strive to decarbonise inland and coastal shipping.
The exchange of knowledge with, and between, these parties is a key aspect of the project and the core mission of the second work package. In 2023, the second work package has identified over 185 pilot projects in the SYNERGETICS PILOT DATABASE (available for download on the website). Local pilots have been specifically invited to join and some will take the stage.
Furthermore, representatives from various SYNERGETICS partners, as well as numerous direct stakeholders, will be invited to present their innovations and outcomes. The organisers are hoping to hold similar events in the future in other regions and languages.
